James D. Williams

Jim Williams is a well known aquatic biologist who is retired from the U.S. Geological Survey. He is currently on part-time employment with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and is a research associate for the Florida Museum of Natural History. Dr. Williams works as a Senior Ecologist for DBC as needed. Currently Dr. Williams along with Robert Butler of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is working on a book on the freshwater mussels of Florida.
